The story behind the image
The view from the histric stone bridge called Barrage Vauban is certainly one of the many stunning attractions in Strasbourg, France. It is situated within walking distance from the quarter La Petit France with countless historic buildings, small streets, nice restaurants and shops. An eye feast for visitors and photographers alike.
The river L’Ill separtes into small channels that wind through the quarter and city. As you can see on my photo, the water was pretty calm and mirrored the buildings nicely.
