The story behind the image
Paris in France is full of photo opportunities, just like any other metropolis. However, it is also full of history, and has been for most of the time.
When we visited Paris in 1988 we stayed for almost a week and massively enjoyed the city and its many stunning locations. We took our time to explore the city, mostly walking, which gave us the opportunity to discover angles that were a bit more unusual than your typical postcard shot.
This one, however, is pretty standard: the historic cathedral Notre-Dame, probably one of the most photographed buildings in the world.
I still like it as it is linked to nice memories. 🙂
