The story behind the image
Here’s a 1999 view of the Gasteig building in Munich, Germany, seen from the Ludwigsbrücke. It is a huge cultural center within walking distance to the city center, featuring an exceptional concert stage, a huge library, a restaurant, and more. It’s close to the Hofbräukeller and beergarden at the Wiener Platz; it’s next to the German Museum and to the Isar River.
If you are in town, I suggest to consider a visit or at least have a nice walk from the Ludwigsbrücke to the beergarden. 🙂
