The story behind the image
I got up early to capture an image of the rising sun at Bellaria near Rimini in Italy. Once done, I turned around and was really surprise to see so many people walking along the beach! Amazing. It seemed like half of the tourists in Bellaria were already pretty active on this morning.
In this photo I like the bright red of the rescue boat that is even enhanced by the warm light of the rising sun that creates long, soft shadows. The mirror-like water of the Mediterranean Sea adds to the almost magical mood.
