The story behind the image
Here’s another lonely tree (well, almost, if we ignore its colleague in the back). I shot this on January 1st, 2015, while in Scuol, Switzerland, where we had a short break over New Years Eve. We took the cable car towards the Motta Naluns middle station and took a long walk in the snow.
In this image, I do like the dominating blue color – also indicating the clear air – and the steeply descending white are of snow.
Lovely.
