AUGUST 2002 – A RV has been parked in the Wells Gray Provincial Park in British Columbia. It can be just vaguely recognized through a windshield as countless large raindrops distort the view. © Mark Zanzig/zanzig.com
The story behind the image
Over the past couple of days I’ve picked a number of photos showing RVs in beautiful places. And yes, I’d love to experience a whole trip in a RV in the future. I don’t care whether this trip will be in the U.S., Canada, Ireland, Scotland, Iceland or the Nordics. I think the experience is simply awesome.
This photo shows a RV in the Wells Gray Provincial Park in British Columbia. It had been raining for a while, and the windshield of our sedan was covered by countless large raindrops, grossly distorting the view of the RV. I further blurred the view by putting the focus on the raindrops in front of me.
So, I should be aware that the weather may not always be as beautiful as on the previous pictures. And it remains to be seen whether it is still such an awesome experience.
But yes, I do like this image, because it shows the other side of RV holidays.
