The story behind the image
Camps Bay is situated west of the Lion’s Head, facing the Atlantic Ocean. It is well worth a side trip from Cape Town or a stopover when returning from the Cape of Good Hope. While you are here, you may get some food (for example at the good The Bungalow restaurant) and watch the paragliders land. They start at Lion’s Head and land on the green right in front of the restaurant!
Here, we enjoyed our dinner in the first row, and this paraglider landed softly on the large green, facing the ocean and looking at the approaching sunset. Awesome.
