The story behind the image
Back in 1987, every day countless of tiny motor boats passed Praia Noce, the beach at Alporchinos, Portugal. The guides would show them the Praia de Albandeira, the Arco Natural and the Caves of Benagil – the beautiful caves and arches of the coastline. The boats were sailing close to the beach, and you could just wave if you wanted to participate in a tour. Then, they would pick you up right at the beach (and bring you back after the tour.)
We never could convince ourselves to spend the money for a boat trip. We probably should have…! Argh!
