The story behind the image
Ireland is full of beautiful scenery. In the North, right at the border between the Counties of Sligo and Leitrim you will find Glencar Lake. And just a short walk from the car park there is the Glencar Waterfall. The path leading up to the waterfall is lined by many old trees but the waterfall can just be heard, not seen. And then it appears almost out of nowhere, blending in perfectly with its surroundings. It’s a really quiet and peaceful place.
I love the angle I found, using a slight tele. I also like that longish exposure time that was long enough to blur the water that falls down. This brings the image to life, even if it is just a still. Nice.
