The story behind the image
The couple had selected an exclusive castle for their wedding: Grad Otočec in Slovenia. Like any wedding, it had been very busy for them all day. So much needed to be organized and checked, and then they had to change clothes. And we had done the official photos already.
Now it was just 30 minutes until the official ceremony would begin. They took the opportunity to take a ‘time out’ at the park next to the castle and sat down on a bench for a rest. From the distance I captured this moment. They appear very relaxed despite all the hectic so far and used the time to calm down and ingest the moment.
