The story behind the image
Here is another image of the small lot shot by an anonymous photographer probably towards the end of the 1960s. None of the images carried further information, i.e. no dates, no places, no context. I did a bit of research and found it to be Croatia.
While I have never been to Croatia I realized now that this was a huge mistake!
This image of Korčula was taken from the sea. Looking at the relatively calm water at the bottom of the image, I think the photographer was on a large ferry that had just left the harbour.
It’s a nice shot and it makes me dream of the Mediterranean Sea. And it’s a super sweet dream. 😉
