The story behind the image
Let’s start the new year with this beautiful image of Loch Carron in Plockton, Scotland. I captured it from the outside patio of the Plockton Hotel at the promenade (aka Harbour Street) where we enjoyed our evening meal – a huge salmon and excellent Fish & Chips. Fan-tas-tique!
Thanks to the late sunset times (about 10 pm this time of the year) the light was incredible. My little Sony P&S camera did a good job here, even if the image size is really small compared to modern digital cameras. But the image is nice and the colors are well balanced.
Love it.
