The story behind the image
When you visit Porto Santo Stefano in Italy, I recommend driving along the Via Panoramica to explore the west coast of the Monte Argentario peninsula. You’ll get to see countless exciting views like this one.
I especially like the strong colors while the focus remains on the swimming pool that certainly can be called a ‘Pool with a View’.
A word of caution, though: The Via Panoramica circles the peninsula, and it’s tempting to take the full circle. And we did. But back in 2012 one part was still a gravel road, and it was a bad one. (It starts here going east.) While it appears to be just a short distance – 4 kilometers – it has the chance to wreck your nerves (and your car!) So, please do yourself a favor, and turn around when you see the beginning of the dirt road. Of course, if you’ve got a 4×4, it should not pose a problem.

Anyway, I love both images. 🙂
