The story behind the image
The Westpark in Munich, Germany, is a genuine park and one of the ‘green lungs’ of the city. It not only has plenty of space for outdoor activites and sports but its gentle hills also offer many beautiful views.
I shot this photo of the Stiftskirche St. Joseph from one of these hills. I especially like the alpine background and the dramatic clouds. The trees were showing their fall colors already, and this subtly shows at the bottom of the image.
