The story behind the image
Here’s another image of the global headquarter of car manufacturer BMW, seen from the Olympic Park. On the left, the BMW Welt can be seen.
I like this image because it shows that BMW has always been a pioneer, be it with their cars or with the architecture of their buildings. The headquarter resembles four cylinders in an engine, the core element of their cars for many decades. The building was completed in May 1973. In 2007 it was joined by the BMW Welt, an exhibition area, delivery center, and exclusive event location. Again, the modern architecture of the building reflects their future-oriented product portfolio.
