The story behind the image
We had booked a two week trip to El Gouna in Egypt. One evening, shortly before sunset, we went to the hotel lagoon and enjoyed the view of the mirror-like surface of the water. A deep red sign warned of the deep water in English and Arabic (حذر! مياه عميقة).
I really like the warm colors that contrast well with the deep blue of the lagoon. And, of course, the bright red sign in English and Arabic. Very nice.
Here’s one possible application. Imagine that during a presentation you’re about to enter the difficult part. This would be a good opening slide with lots of copyspace for the headline. 🙂
