The story behind the image
When on the island of Mallorca in Spain, please consider visiting the South-East and especially the beautiful village called Cala Figuera and its small, protected harbour. At the main entry from the seaside, you will find the Hotel Villa Sirena and its patio that offers stunning views across the bay and the Mediterranean Sea. On the opposite coast is the Far de la Torre d’en Beu, a historic watchtower that offers nice views as well.
I captured this photo in the late afternoon, and the sun was already quite low. I like the fact that the two ladies on the patio were illuminated while the foreground (and the guy) were already dipped into the shadow.
