The story behind the image
Dumfries left a lasting impression on us, probably because it was our first night when we where visiting Scotland in 2005. The weather was picture-perfect and definitely like it should be in summer.
We took a long walk along the river Nith before looking for a restaurant in the town center. Near Well Street I found this awesome reflection of the A780 bridge across the river which was flowing slowly and very gently. The light of the late evening sun perfectly illuminated the location.
Lovely.
