The story behind the image
Classic cars! I like them, especially when they are fast and truly iconic. Like this Porsche 911 S that I found in the exhibition of the awesome Deutsches Museum Verkehrszentrum – a museum presenting the world of land-bound moving objects, i.e. trains, bikes, motorbikes, buses, and – of course! – cars. You’ll get to see the entire history of cars, from the early beginnings to future concepts. They even have a horse-drawn coach simulator that you can enter and experience a ride from Munich to Augsburg! Wow.
The Porsche 911 S has been completely manufactured from stainless steel and has not been painted, which makes the body look naked and pretty unique.
For the photo I put the focus on the 911 logo which provided the only colorful feature on the rear section of the car. I realized that the windows above were creating an unusual and attractive pattern on the steel and I had my image! The result: a flawless image that highlights the 911 logo and has several nice guiding lines.
Lovely.
