The story behind the image
County Cork in Ireland is a beautiful space. Cork itself is a vibrant small city, and its surroundings feature some stunning locations. Like the village of Roches Point, which is situated 40 minutes by car from downtown Cork. It sits on a small peninsula with a small lighthouse (Roches Point Lighthouse) at its end.
The afternoon light was perfect for this detailed shot of the lighthouse. I expecially like the clear colors and somewhat battered look.
