The story behind the image
Did you know that I have a thing for old cars? While I (sadly) cannot afford collecting them, I still like to see and photograph them every now and then.
During a historic car exhibition in Taufkirchen near Munich in Bavaria I found a beautiful 1955 Pontiac Star Chief painted in copper metallic. The paint was shining brightly in the sun, and I found a good angle to highlight the Pontiac label that sits between the distinctive metal rails mounted to the engine hood.
I really like the color, the prominent Pontiac label, and the reflection of the sun.
