The story behind the image
In 2021 we stayed in Germany for our summer vacation, in Immenstaad am Bodensee to be precise. The small town at the northern shore of Lake Constance is popular with tourists as the area provides countless opportunities for families, hikers, bikers, and basically everyone who enjoys relaxing vacations. Even if the weather should be bad, there are many nearby indoor attractions, like the Zepplin Museum in Friedrichshafen.
However, there are several small beaches and piers, too, that provide access to the lake, and during summer this is a key attraction as the lake is usually rather warm and invites for swimming.
We will definitely return to Immenstaad am Bodensee. 🙂
