The story behind the image
Nymphenburg Castle in Munich, Germany, is always a good for a nice photo opportunity, especially when the sun is shining and the flowers are blossoming.
This photo shows the front of the castle, shot across the greens from the north-eastern corner. I used my (then new) Kodak DC 4800 Zoom Digital camera for this shot. Despite its mediocre resolution (just 3.1 megapixels which is tiny by todays standards) the camera was top notch digital technology back in 2001. The color reproduction is superb and did not require a lot of editing. The perfect companion for a walk in the park when you did not want to bring more serious equipment.
