The story behind the image
We spent the morning at the barn playground of Pirker’s Familienpension at the Faaker See close to Villach, Austria. It’s a kids paradise: all kinds of toys – from building blocks to toy cars to dolls – on the first floor of a large barn.
Out of interest I looked at the toy cars. Which boy has not loved his collection of cars? They were all quite battered and had seen better times for sure. But isn’t that all the fun – to have the power to let two cars bump into each other time and again and see what happens to the cars?
I lined up three cars for a virtual race and imagined myself to be shooting the photo at the starting line. A nice flashback into childhood. 🙂
