The story behind the image
Lake Garda in Italy is just a four-hour drive from our home in Munich, Germany, (on good days) but thanks to its true Italian flair it makes a genuine difference compared to daily life in Germany. This is not just true for the weather (which is usually warmer than in Germany) but also for the mood and culture.
This is the Caffe Ristorante Pizzeria Italia da Nikolas which is located in Malcesine, right between the tiny harbour and the beautiful Palazzo dei Capitani. Not only do you get excellent views across the harbour and Lake Garda but you get the opportunity to enjoy fresh fish from the lake, sea fish, pizza from a wood ofen, home made pasta with seafood, and much more.
What more do you want? It hardly can get any better.
