The story behind the image
Paris in France is full of photo opportunities, just like any other metropolis. In 1988, we stayed for almost a week and massively enjoyed the city and its many locations.
Voilá, this photo of Pont Neuf, looks into Rue Dauphine. Admittedly, it is not too spectacular. However, it is interesting to see how much the area has changed, if at all. And indeed, very little has changed. The buildings at the end of Rue Dauphine were still there in 2022, and they look almost identical to 1988. The wild parking area on the right has been cleared. The broken signpost (“Pont Neu”) has been removed. And the trees have grown significantly. 🙂
Voilá.
