Leaning Tower, Pisa, Italy (II)

The story behind the image

We had never been to Pisa to see what must probably be one of the most photographed locations in the world: The Leaning Tower of Pisa. When we finally came around in 2012, it was very hot which probably was the reason for the relatively few visitors on the site. The place certainly is beautiful, and if you’ve got a chance, please plan the time for a visit.

I took this photo with our Ricoh CX1, a good point-and-shoot camera. I used to love this camera back then, because it was lightweight and small but took decent images that are sufficiently large.
