The story behind the image
Here’s a recent image of the global headquarter of car manufacturer BMW, seen from the Olympic Park. On the left, the BMW Welt can be seen.
I like this image because it shows that BMW has always been a pioneer, be it with their cars or with the architecture of their buildings. The headquarter building resembles four cylinders, core element of their cars for many decades. Up in the air, the rooftop shows the BMW logo. The headquarter building was completed in May 1973. Since 2007 it is accompanied by the BMW Welt, an exhibition area, delivery center, and exclusive event location. Again, modern architecture reflects their future-oriented car portfolio.
I also adore the clear sky and empty streets which underline the stunning architecture. Nice.
