The story behind the image
Hamburg is well known for its long history and its harbor that brought wealth to the city and its people. One sign for the wealth is the beautiful town hall in the city center. We visited the city at the end of April in 2012, and the weather was just okay-ish. Nonetheless, we went to see the town hall where I discovered this detail of the clock tower at the top of the building.
I love the location and the frame content; the weather did not really help with bringing across the beauty. Next time I plan to bring a pro body (and some good weather.) 😉
