The story behind the image
During our recent trip to Bellaria-Igea Marina in Italy we did not have bright sunshine every single day. About two days were rainy and cloudy. We used these days for excursions. One of these excursions led us to a town in the neighborhood: Cesenatico.
Cesenatico’s key feature (and must-see!) is its historic harbor with countless ships that have been beautifully restored and are now exhibited in the town center. Left and right of the channel – Fosso Veneralla – you will find restaurants and bars. A bit further to the sea you will see the working harbor.
On the photo you can see the clouds that still hung over Cesenatico. But we thought that this was actually good for us, because a walk along the channel in the hot sun is also quite demanding.
If you are in the area, please consider Cesenatico for a side-trip or stopover. You won’t regret it.
