The story behind the image
You are looking at the bridge that crosses Loch Alsh connecting the small island called Eilean Bàn with the Isle of Skye as part of the A87. The bridge is fairly new – it was opened in October 1995.
I shot this photo in the very late afternoon as I really liked the frontal sunlight reflecting on the water, the stylish contours of the bridge and the awesome backdrop of the mountains. One may say that it’s just a bridge, and I would agree. But it’s a nice one! 🙂
