The story behind the image
Let me conclude the mini series about an exciting drive along the Scottish west coast with a second image showing Loch Carron, shot from the promenade (aka Harbour Street) at Plockton.
Thanks to the late sunset times (about 10 pm this time of the year) the light was incredibly beautiful, and – looking at the dark clouds in the distance that might prevent decent images on the next day – I captured the scene with my little Sony P&S camera. Admittedly, the image size is small by any means, but the image is nice and the colors are well balanced.
I am convinced that I’ll return to Scotland one day. Hopefully rather sooner than later.
