The story behind the image
We proceeded along the coastline of the Applecross Peninsula towards south and came across this beautiful secluded beach called Applecross Sands. Despite the warm summer temperatures, there were no swimmers, most likely because the water was still a pretty cold (probably around 15 °C – brrr.) But the sunny weather and maritime setting still had attracted a couple of visitors who were now returing to their cars after having enjoyed the clean air and nice views.
