The story behind the image
On our way from Dumfries to Ayr in Scotland we decided for a slow route that lead us closely along the coastline. For one leg, we used the A75 and much to our surprise we came across Carsluith Castle, which is situated directly at the highway. Entrance to the castle was free of charge, making it an even better experience! The views across the large bay were stunning, and the informative posters explained the ruins and former life in the castle. As always, Wikipedia knows more about the history of the castle.
I like the bright green and yellow colors that go well with the light blue of the water and the sky.
