The story behind the image
Should you ever have the opportunity to visit the Isle of Skye in Scotland, please do yourself a favour and take your time to explore the northern tip of the island. Here you will discover great views as well as experience the stunning tranquility that you may be looking for.
From Portree, just take the A855 and you will want to stop your car, for example, for Lake Leathan, the Kilt Rock & Mealt Falls (above), the Quiraing, and many more.
While there are plenty of images of Kilt Rock & Mealt Falls, becauise it is commonly photographed by visitors, I like the fact that on this image a seagull flies by Mealt Falls. (In fact, it is joined by a second one which you can see if you inspect the image more closely.) In the back you can see the magnificient Kilt Rock. Lovely.
