The story behind the image
A warm late summer evening (in fact, early autumn) was a fantastic opportunity to take the camera and tripod to the Oktoberfest in Munich, which was just a short bike ride away from our appartment back then. Here is a nice shot of a moving carousel. I wanted the people to blur just slightly, so that they are still visible as individuals but their identity would be impossible to recognize.
An exposure time of 1/25 sec. did the trick. The box office is super sharp, but all moving parts are blurred. Nice.
