The story behind the image
In the second post with maritime photos this week, here’s another shot of the sails of the Russian tall ship Mir as they blow in the wind.
I really like the steep angle of the image and the reduced color set. The dark clouds add drama – but fortunately it did not start to rain during our short trip. I think this is a really nice maritime shot that makes you wanna go there, enjoying the wind and the sun and the sea.
