The story behind the image
This is a photo from a short trip to Punta Cana, situated at the east coast of the Dominican Republic. Our hotel was the Grand Palladium Bavaro Resort & Spa (now Grand Palladium Bávaro Suites Resort & Spa), and this photo shows the beach belonging to the hotel. It is quite long and rather narrow, with fine white sand that gently dips into the sea. You walk directly from the hotel grounds onto the beach with its countless palms. The colors are as fantastic and captivating as on the picture – an endless motion of white, blue and green.
It’s a beautiful place, and I’d go there any minute. Maybe next time I’ll bring a better camera, though. 😉
