The story behind the image
When driving along the highway 66 you will pass countless roadsigns indicicating that you are indeed on the right path. Many of these signs have seen better times, but this one seemed to be pretty new.
I could not resist to capture it as it stood there in the bright sunlight on a clear day. The lamp pole looked nice as well, and I put it into the left half of the image. The image can be cropped in several attractive ways – 16:9, square, even portrait – and the deep blue sky offers plenty of copyspace.
