The story behind the image
Earlier today I shared a photo of my parents after their formal wedding at the registration office.
This image was captured by the very talented photographer Helmut Bormann from Hamburg, Germany, on the same day right after leaving the church. Back in 1965, the formal registration already had been the legally correct act. Still, the most important location had been the church. And it shows in the images. Just see how my mother smiles! And my father, too! Nice.
