The story behind the image
A shot from a beautiful walk along the Isar river that flows directly through the city of Munich in Germany on a bank holiday, 16 years ago. The impressive church is St. Maximillian, and you can find all the detailed information on its official homepage (in German) and on Wikipedia (in German.)
Can’t say exactly why I put the ISO to 1600 (quelle malheure!) but guess I wanted to get the f/22 and a short exposure time. When I look at the high resolution image, a bit of noise shows, but it’s not a lot and does not harm the overall nice impression of the image.
Happy Labor Day!
