The story behind the image
Cagliari is an old city with a rich history, a large working harbor, stunning architecture and a lot of southern charme. This makes it an awesome place for photographers. You will find good photo opportunities almost everywhere.
I found this palm tree near the city center at the Terratta Umberto I. I thought it was a nice addition to my collection of lonely trees. Shot from beneath, the blue sky works perfectly with the green leafs of the tree. The off-white marble and attractive fence add an interesting visual contrast. Lots of copyspace helps placing a headline and some intro copy.
Lovely.
