The story behind the image

There were still a few minutes before the sunset was going to happen. The sunlight was already throwing long shadows, highlighting the ripped structure of the huge beach. The wind was blowing steadily, and while not really cold, it was not warm either, and we were lucky to have our jackets.

Then a man walked along the beach, close to the water. I was fortunate enough to have the wide angle lens mounted already and captured this moment. Still love the shot after 22 years, because of the emptiness of the beach, the long shadows, and the reduced color set.
