The story behind the image
Yesterday I blogged about my first visit in 1988 to the Cabo de Sao Vicente in Portugal, which marked the end of the world for many centuries.
Back in 1995 I re-visited the lighthouse and found it to have not changed at all. It was still in a proper condition. There were still a few tourists. The waves of the Atlantic Ocean were still clashing at the steep cliffs.
It’s a beautiful spot. If you are visiting the Algarve, do yourself a favor and visit the place.
