The story behind the image
On my trip to Mexico City the company had booked a nice hotel (the Sheraton Maria Isabel) for me. I had brought my first digital camera, a tiny, but expensive, Kodak DC 4800 Zoom Digital. The hotel was located right next to the Angel of Independence monument, and when I left the hotel to explore the surroundings I was baffled by the beautiful view. Fortunately, I had the camera with me.
The pixel size is tiny by today’s standards, but the image quality is still very good. Please keep in mind that these were different times in terms of photo technology.
