The story behind the image
Immenstaad am Bodensee in Germany is well known for its warm climate and large fruit farms. There’s a small but fine wine industry as well. Especially the vineyards close to the shore of the lake produce excellent wines due to the mild climate which is softened by the lake.
Our appartment was at the Röhrenbach, a family-owned vineyard and appartment hotel. The friendly team offers wine tastings with some explanations once a week, and one evening we attended their sun-downer session.
Sitting next to the vineyard and enjoying the sunset, and a good glass of wine, is an awesome experience. Sadly I had just brought my smartphone and was holding 1/33 sec exposure from hand, without tripod. Yet I would like to share this moment with you. If you are planning a trip to the region, please do consider the Röhrenbach. You won’t regret it.*
