Moraine Lake in the morning (II)

The story behind the image

A while ago I posted a first shot of the awesome Moraine Lake in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Here is a second shot from this series, this time a bit closer to the first row of logs. As it was a bit of a balancing challenge to get there I like this photo even more. Also, I think the reflection of the Ten Peaks Valley in the lake is better. A few minutes after this photo, the first canoes were entering the lake, so it’s a rare sight to see the lake in its undisturbed beauty.
