The story behind the image
In Las Vegas you will either stay all day at the pool and all night at the casinos and shows, or you roam along The Strip. We did exactly this and realized that the city is not really attractive during the day. But this changes dramatically in the late afternoon when the light gets more saturated and the shadows get longer. Then the miracle happens. At least for us, it did happen. The light of the setting sun reflected in the Mandalay Bay Hotel which added the whole range of orange tones to the building. I also like the way the Replica Statue of Liberty (belonging to the New York, New York Hotel) creates a silhouette. Nice.
