The story behind the image
Not much of a story here. It was a beautiful sunny day in late summer. In Italy you could still enjoy the beach but it was not as hot as in August. We visited Porto Santo Stefano, which is situated just a two-hour drive north of Rome.
I brought just our Ricoh CX1 just for convenience, and it performed very well. Your honors, here’ exhibit A. The image is almost straight out of the camera. Clear, well balanced colors and good sharpness across the entire image. The result: An exceptionally nice image that stirs my desire to return to that town. Right now. (Sadly, I’ll have to wait for a while due to you-know-what.)
