The story behind the image
We did a walk through Munich, Germany, on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, from the city center to the English Garden. And there he was: a fly fisher standing in the middle of the Isar river, trying to catch some fish. I was stunned, because – up until then – I had associated fly fishing with rural rivers in Canada or (at least) more quiet areas in Bavaria. Here we were in the middle of our busy hometown! But I take it as a good as the quality of the water must be really high.
I like this image not for its technical quality (I had just my tiny Sony P&S with me) but for the unusual story, the composition and the restricted color set. And as a bonus the Angel of Peace in the back. Nice.
